Fighting Infidelity Among Men
Authorities in the city of Dares Salaam have announced the
upcoming publication of the list of married men to fight against infidelity.
The information will be available on a government website to
help single women identify "predators" posing as singles themselves,
notes Paul Makonda, regional commissioner.
"Our main goal is to relieve the pain of these women
who are suffering from these cheaters who promise them marriage," said
Makonda.
"A regional commissioner is not happy to lead women who
are sad and broken because of love and romantic relationships," he said.

The measure gives rise to various comments and analyzes in
the country, particularly on social networks.
Some people believe that infidelity does not only affect
married men, but also women; therefore, they deserve just as much as their
names are published on the government's website.
Religion is also a factor that can reduce the effectiveness
of this measure, according to other users.
Tanzania is a country where Islam, which allows a man to
have multiple wives, is a first-rate religion.
Having your name on a website will not discourage a man from
conquering a woman and her accepting to be his second or third wife, according
to Internet users.
