Rwanda’s Trinity bus burnt while on the way to Uganda, passengers flee

BUWAMA — A bus belonging to Trinity Express, a Rwandan based travel company on Tuesday morning went up in flames in Mpigi.

All the passengers survived but they lost their property to the fire.
The bus registration number RAD 664D from Kigali heading to Kampala went up in flames at Buwama Police Check point.

Video footage of the incident shows large flames at the rear of the bus, sending plumes of black smoke into the sky.

Police suspects the fire started in the engine compartment before it spread to the rest bus.
Trinity Express is a Rwanda based company on the international Kigali-Kampala route. It has been growing rapidly over the past few years.
